Royal Plecos are large, striking catfish with unique striped patterns and a powerful sucker mouth. They are great algae eaters and add a prehistoric look to any tank.

Tank Size: 200 litres or more
Temperature: 24-28°C
pH: 6.5-7.5
Tankmates: Compatible with medium to large peaceful fish such as cichlids, angelfish, and rainbowfish. Avoid aggressive species that may stress them.
Diet: Herbivorous. They eat algae, sinking wafers, and fresh vegetables like zucchini and cucumber.
Care Tips: They require driftwood in the tank to graze on, as it helps with digestion. Keep in a well-filtered tank with plenty of hiding spaces.
