Hoplo Catfish are large, sturdy catfish with a peaceful temperament and a distinctive armour-like appearance. They are excellent scavengers and help maintain tank cleanliness.

pH: 6.0-7.5
Tankmates: These catfish are peaceful but should be kept with other non-aggressive fish like tetras, barbs, and peaceful cichlids.
Diet: Omnivorous. They enjoy sinking pellets, algae wafers, and live or frozen foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp.
Care Tips: Hoplo Catfish require a well-filtered tank and benefit from plenty of hiding spots and swimming space.
