Harlequin Rasboras are small, peaceful fish known for their striking triangular black patch on the body, which contrasts beautifully with their orange-red coloration. They are perfect for community tanks and school well with other peaceful species.
Minimum Tank Requirements:
- Tank Size: 40 litres or more
- Temperature: 22-28°C
- pH: 6.0-7.5
Tankmates:
These peaceful fish thrive in schools and do well with other small species like tetras, guppies, and small barbs. Avoid keeping them with aggressive or larger fish.
Diet:
Omnivorous. Feed them flakes, micro-pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms.
Care Tips:
Harlequin Rasboras should be kept in schools of at least 6 fish for them to feel secure and exhibit natural behaviour. They do best in a well-planted tank with gentle water flow.
