Chain Loach (Ambastaia sidthimunki)

Chain Loaches are small, active fish with a beautiful interwoven pattern along their bodies. They are fantastic for controlling pest snails.

Minimum Tank Requirements:

• Tank Size: 80 litres or more
• Temperature: 24-28°C
• pH: 6.0-7.5

Tankmates:
Perfect for community tanks with tetras, rasboras, and gouramis. Avoid keeping them with large or aggressive fish.

Diet:
Omnivorous. Provide sinking pellets, algae wafers, and occasional live or frozen foods like snails, bloodworms, or daphnia.

Care Tips:
Chain Loaches are social and should be kept in groups of at least 5. They thrive in well-oxygenated tanks with hiding spots.
