Cardinal Tetras are similar to neon tetras but have a more prominent red stripe running the length of their body. They’re stunning in planted aquariums and bring a sense of calm to community tanks.

Tankmates: Great with peaceful fish like guppies, rasboras, and other small tetras. Avoid fin-nippers or overly active tankmates.
Diet: Omnivorous. Provide high-quality flakes, micro-pellets, and occasional live or frozen food like brine shrimp or bloodworms.
Care Tips: Cardinals prefer soft, acidic water and thrive in groups of 6 or more. They’re happiest in well-planted tanks with low to moderate lighting.
