Boesmani Rainbowfish are well-known for their stunning half-and-half colouration, with a deep blue front half and a bright yellow-orange back half. They are peaceful but active swimmers.

Tank Size: 120 litres or more
Temperature: 24-28°C
pH: 6.5-7.5
Tankmates: They mix well with other peaceful fish, including tetras, barbs, danios, and gouramis. Avoid slow-moving or very small fish that may be intimidated by their activity level.
Diet: Omnivorous. They thrive on high-quality flakes, pellets, and occasional live or frozen foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp.
Care Tips: Boesmani Rainbowfish should be kept in schools of at least 6 fish. Their colours become more vibrant with a high-quality diet and good water conditions. Provide a well-planted tank with open swimming areas.
