Black Line Flying Foxes are sleek, active fish with a bold black stripe running from their nose to their tail. They’re fantastic algae eaters and bring energy to any community tank.
Minimum Tank Requirements:
Tank Size: 80 litres or more
Temperature: 24-28°C
pH: 6.0-7.5
Tankmates: Good with other peaceful to semi-aggressive species like barbs, larger tetras, and gouramis. Avoid slow-moving or long-finned fish.
Diet: Omnivorous. They enjoy algae wafers, sinking pellets, and fresh vegetables, along with occasional live or frozen foods like bloodworms.
Care Tips: These fish are active swimmers and need plenty of open space. They can be territorial with their own kind, so it’s best to keep just one or a group of 5 or more.
