Available Types and Ranges
pH Test Kits (6.0–7.8 or 4.5–10): Measures acidity and alkalinity; select kits often include pH Up and pH Down adjusters.
Ammonia (NH3) Test Kit: Measures toxic waste from fish and uneaten food (typically 0–10.0 ppm).
Nitrite (NO2) Test Kit: Tracks harmful intermediate compounds during tank cycling.
Nitrate (NO3) Test Kit: Monitors end-stage nitrogen accumulation for routine maintenance.
Phosphate (PO4) Test Kit: Helps control nutrient levels to prevent unwanted algae growth.
Specialty Kits: Also available for Carbonate Hardness (kH), Calcium (Ca), and Iron (Fe).
Rinse the included glass test tube with water from your aquarium.
Fill the test tube to the designated fill line with your aquarium water sample.
Add the specified number of indicator drops from the test reagent bottle.
Cap and shake the tube gently to mix the solution.
Compare the resulting liquid color against the provided waterproof color chart to read the parameter level.
